    I was wondering about a hernia. The funny thing about her eggs is the shape has changed in the last week. She always lays these really round spherical shaped eggs and the last week they have become more typical oval shaped eggs. Thanks everyone, I'll post an update when I get home this evening.

    Roost questions

    2 roost questions: 1. how high off the ground should the roost be? I want to put 2 in the hen house and 1 in the run. And 2nd question, Can I use closet rods for the roost? Or will they slide off? They're about 1 3/8" in diameter. Thanks!!
