So excited! I'm getting 5 five week old BW poults from someone local who got their birds from Jerry Poole. Thanks to all the information on this thread I was able to ask the right questions to make sure these are BW and not MW.
Is it called Corid at TSC? I looked on line and did not find it with a search. I have some 5 week old chicks that have bloody poop. I moved them out of their one coop that was hard to keep dry and moved them into a pen that is on dry sand and in the sun and gave them some Sulmet.
I have a white non-show quality silkie roo in with my other various bantams that needs to be relocated into his own coop with his own hens (have 2 frizzle roos in coop already). I would like to get at least 2 pet quality silkie hens for him. We are located in Gloucester County, VA.
The joy of getting older - I get up at 4 AM because I have to pee, then 6 dogs get up because they have to pee, then the cats are asking for food because the youngest dog ate their food again during the night, then the alarm goes off at 4:30 for getting up to go to work!
Thanks, I'll try that. Should I worry about it spreading to the other chicks. I don't want my Dominiques to get sick. I can cull this one if it's going to be a risk for the others.
I have a batch of 6 dominiques and 2 d'uccles in my brooder now. One of the d'uccles is shaking all the time now. It start out just shaking occasionally, now it's shaking all the time. Seems to be eating, drinking, preening and getting around OK otherwise. Does anyone know what this is? Should I...
