We have moved to town, & I am going through chicken withdrawal in a BAD way!!
My town is OK w/ City Chicks, so I am looking for a few good gals to add to our family! Hoping to find some sweet bantams, or 2-3 Big Gals, such as Buff Orps, New Hamps, Wyandottes, or EEs! Not opposed to chicks,as...

Oh good grief. Maia is trying to HELP the poor thing,it's obvious the owners don't care about her,or she wouldn't be roaming all over town in danger of getting eaten!
Good luck Maia,& see ya on CD!
Have lost several chicks to cocci ( stupid medicated feed didn't work) and I got a bottle of corid from the vet but the receptionist didn't know the dosage fr chickens. Said 1.1 oz will do 6 gallons, but I suck at math & don't know how much that would be per gallon!

Needless to say,as she lives in town,I now own one of...
60 overnight,at 4-7 weeks? They'll be just fine. As long as they have dry bedding,no major drafts,& other buddies to snuggle with, No worries.
I'm in Kansas,my newborns go out to the coop once they are dry in the bator, under a heat lamp, dry bedding. They do just fine w/ no heat in daytime...
