    Gender help needed please

Well, that is a sigh of relief. I was sure with the pink coming thru we had a roo. Lou was a lone survivor and is living in our lounge room but I cannot have another roo and we are getting very fond of Lou.

    Gender help needed please

Mum is a b/yard mix and dad is an Australian araucana. I thought that made this an ee. Sorry if that's not right, still learning all about these complicated creatures lol

Day 20 incubation in serious need of help please

Yes I am going purely by what the bator is saying. I have not added water to it at all during the incubation period as it was staying around 45-50% and judging by the dilemma I am now faced with I think it would be about right but how do u lower humidity when u haven't even added water? I can't...

Day 20 incubation in serious need of help please

She just said too small. I think she thought they were dead and decided to do water float test and they sunk and she said yep dead but then they moved and moved a couple of times when we decided to put them back in the bator. It's at 45% atm. I didn't want to increase as I thought that would...

Day 20 incubation in serious need of help please

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I have anything I have to remove? It's summer here in Australia and humidity has been high. Can I have the lid ajar? My temp will hold but the humidity will drop alittle. Am I better leaving it as is or lowering humidity untill they pip and then increase...

Day 20 incubation in serious need of help please

I think we have had trouble with this first hatch. I am in Australia and have had no water in the incubator and the humidity has been sitting around 45/50%( apparently going by the bator) Day 18 and my friend candled and the air cells were so small. They went into lockdown but she decided to...

How many boys do you see

Thank you for all your replies. I was not expecting 5 out of 6 to be boys. Is there none of the australorps that are iffy? Sorry, clutching at straws here. Thanks again

How many boys do you see

Pic of the "only possible" pullet and 2nd pic is the australorps at about 2.5 weeks and except one (which is the first original pic) that I suspected might be male the rest have a tail and started to feather up.

How many boys do you see

I'm deverstated. i have a pic of them around 2.5 weeks old and 3 of the australorps have tails except the 1st one which I started to suspect was a boy. I have had them since they were a week old but can't believe at least 5 boys out of 6, I must have a neon sign on my forehead :(

How many boys do you see

That is not good for me My feeling was the 2nd araucana and the 1st australorp was male but to find out that 5 out of 6 are males I am not sure what to do.

How many boys do you see

Hi, I purchased 4 australorps currently around 5 weeks old and then seperatly 2 araucanas around 7 weeks old and was told they are all girls but I am not so sure but this is my first time owning chickens so I would love some feedback as roosters are not permitted where we reside. Thanks in advance
