Is this a cockerel? It’s 6 weeks.

Anyone know if this is a pullet or cockerel?

I was given two 5-6 week old chicks. One if the 2 has feet with spots all over. Mite? Do I treat both? They’ve been kept together, always been inside the house, the other one’s feet look fine. Previous owners never noticed anything.

Any idea what this is? Fresh from the egg.

Any guesses as to hen/roo? They’re almost 8 weeks old. there are 4 chicks. A white one, frizzled one, black with white spots and a black one.

This roo is developing very slow, slower than his hatch mates. He’s big, but his comb and wattle grow are slow. I’m wanting to thin out my roo population. just wondering with this beauty, will this comb grow out into a walnut comb yet? Or is that not something we can foresee?

Hi, We’re hatching duck eggs, Indian runners, and are on day 25. We just noticed 4 eggs with a dark circle, any idea what that could be? There’s still movement in the eggs. Also, the air sac is horizontal instead of at the end of the egg?

I was just candling my eggs in the incubator and noticed I must’ve put one in that was cracked 😳 Is this going to be okay? It seems to be growing alright, so far. We’re on day 14, there’s also a proper air sac.

Can you tell what these seramas are? One is clearly a rooster, I’m wondering about another 3 And then I’m almost certain their are 3 hens. They’re about 5 weeks old.

On September 9 one of our hens started hoarding eggs ;) She was sitting down on them every time we checked, and by Friday the 13th she had 23 eggs, but lost interest sitting on them, so I put them in the incubator. Fast forward to today, it’s been 21 days since the first egg was laid, but 17...

My brother in law found this bird on the floor in his barn. The nest was too high up to put the bird back. Is this leg curable at this stage still? I’ve put elastic around it, would this be tight enough? His one leg looks a bit swollen, too.

the eggs were sold as black copper Marans and Blue Ameraucanas. I’m not too sure? Are they actually? Of the 12 Ameraucanas only 2 hatched, of the 16 BCM only 5, worst hatch ever, I won’t ever buy from him again. Any idea what these are? BCM roo? Blue Ameraucana hen? BCM hen? Blue...

I put 15 eggs in the hovabater Tuesday night (it is now Thursday afternoon) been SO fixed on the temp and humidity, but forgot to turn the egg turner on :( Is it worth to keep going? Or am I going to collect new eggs and start over?

This is our almost one yr old quail. She's been separated from the flock as she's having issues with balance and walking. No idea what may have happened, but she's using her entire feet to walk. What may be the matter?
