An update well out of all the chick we have 4 left after we moved them out all went well the the smallest of them died ... our dog manged to get a hold of 2 of them he ate one and left just the stomach and the other he caught it by it back and took most of it's back off .... then just...

just to let you know mam and papa havent come back it is 10pm here now and they have been gone this this afternoon ... we took the baby in and placed it in cardboard box with grass and hay and we are feeding it with a syringe

thank you a million .. you have been so helpful so the big rooster is an adult and yes it was on the backs of the chicks ... the small rooster did peck alot and everywhere ... this small rooster is my lazy one he is always sleeping and doesnt crow ..also i have a what i thought was a hawk but...

also i dont have a hen as she dies about a week and a half ago

first pic is the second set ..we dont even know what breed they are second pic is the first set their was 7 now only 5 they i believe are 5/6 weeks old we have had them for nearly 5 weeks this pic is from the second set ..they always jump up and sit on top during the day when it...

to be honest i'm not sure how old the chicks are ... my first set i believe are about 5/6 weeks old the second set are a different bread i believe and look bigger we only got them last friday i have taken pics of them but it doesnt do them justice i will try to up load them the chicks dont...

my husband told me to try the bigger set of chick in the garden with the roosters and see how they go so i did ... both my roosters started to peck at the chicks ..i'm not sure if this is normal and can they hurt the chicks ...i'm now not sure if it is the right thing to try to put them out yet...

oh ok thank will keep an eyes out...not sure if it will happen to her as my daughter is 6 years old

thank you so much for answering i keep reading about brooders and had to check about them i dont have this ... at the moment my chicks are in 2 separate card broad boxes at night we place a smaller box upside down and place some cloth in their to help keep them warm they have been like this...

I posted this in another area but i think maybe it is better here as it was in another thread ...advice needed please My husband brought home some baby chicks about 4 weeks ago some seem bigger than others i asked what kind of chicks they are he just said arab chicks ... we live in algeria...
