Dont worry. I have a hen who has a crooked tail, and staggers. She's fine. She eats and drinks and runs around. (hobbles, actually) but your hen isn't mine, so, i dunno.

If she does have egg bound you can take her to a vet to get the egg inside her crushed. if you dont take her to the vet you would probably put her down. If she does have egg bound, she would die a very slow painful death. But I dont think she has it..just check, anyway. I hope she gets better. <333

I'm really sorry, I hate to say this, but my chicken had the same thing and she died. The best thing i would do is look after her and make her feel special, so, when she dies (if) she knows she was loved.

Thanks alot, guys. I will take the advice. I dont think they have it, because they are very healthy and attacked dad yesterday, so none of them are weak. I'm glad i joined this website, everyones helping so much.

Sleepy, sounds like mareks disease. My chicken did the same thing as yours, and she passed away monday night. Theres really nothing you can do, just pray that she will make it. Keep her strong and perhaps stretch her legs. She might make it. Hopefully she doesnt end up like my baby did. Good luck.

Help! my chicken died of mareks disease, and my others have a chance of catching it. Is there anything i can do, or should i jsut kiss them goodbye?
