I don't know that I'll be at the next swap, but I'll try to keep up with dates so I can let my dad know. We still have 3 roosters that need homes so he would probably be there.
He's kinda like a red mixed rooster I have that doesn't look as much like a roo, but he is crowing and trying to mate our hens. Seeing as you're right down the road from me they could be long lost brothers lol. Like someone else mentioned he may be holding back on the crowing and other...
Well after I made that last post I looked out and the rain had stopped so I took the camera out.
More of "Brutus"
and here is "Red" whose gender is in question lol...

Thanks for all the comments. I'll make sure to tell him haha. I was going to get out and take some more pics of the two, but it's rainy out. If the rain stops I'll slip out and try to get some pics.

delawaregirl: He is a beautiful rooster, but we are thinking of putting him up for sell since we already have too many roos. The "hen" napping next to him is actually a rooster. We thought it was a hen for a long time until it started crowing and trying to breed the hens lol. We took him to...
I picked up a new pair of cochins from BYC member enola this past weekend. The weather here has been pretty blah the past 2-3 days, but I managed to get some pics.
The two new members of our flock, Remy and Emma:
and here are our other cochins Susan, Jane, and Kelly:
This pic turned out...
Thanks again Country it was good meeting you. I'm not sure about those chicks. Some may turn out to be hens and some roos. We aren't too good at telling them apart that young. The last chicks we pegged as hens turned out to be roosters. Who knows with our luck you got all the hens, and...
