Rooster only mating with one hen

I got him and the gold lace at 4mnths and have had them for about 4mnths. I wouldn't be suprised if they were imbreeds His legs are so long and his knees wobble inwards he jumps around like a kangaroo.. He's highly amusing to watch and I'd love to keep him but if he doesn't grow some...

Rooster only mating with one hen

I'm not sure if submits it's the right word she tries to get away he doesn't let her.. I'm worried she's too small for him but don't really want to get rid of him.. If getting more hens would help id do that but I'm wondering if they usually tend to pick on one at first

How can I change where hen lays

We have 3 silkies 2 have started laying recently and one has started doing a hilariously rediculous dance around them.. But we have a large yard and they have both picked odd places to lay.. I have put a nesting box in the coop with soft hay but neither is interested.. The places they have...

    Is my chook a rooster?

How do you tell if silkies are cockerels or pullets? I've got 3, ones got a pointy bantam like tail the other two have rounded tails but I've had them for 4 months and one acts tough like a rooster the other two are really passive. And when do they start laying? Thanks

    Is my chook a rooster?

It is apparently 4months. Is that because of the colour or size of the comb or wattle or is there another reason it's a cockerel?
