Figured I share updates!
Silkie double cross rooster
Barred rock cross rooster
And we have no idea what this little hen is but she has some cool colours in her black feathers.
But the 3 of them still stick together in the flock, 4 months old.
Well our hen went broody again! She hatched out our chicks 4 months ago.. and last night 7/8 eggs we had under her this time hatched! Barnyard mixes. The excitement of having no idea what they'll look like!
Update;
After two days of underside of the chick feeling like fluid or air... The chick today is... Deflated? She is still acting fine, keep an eye on her next few days before assuming we're In the clear. But flying to my shoulder when I opened the coop was a good sign
She is acting completely normal eating and drinking fine no change in walking anything like that. Wouldn't notice if I didn't lift her off my shoulder. We did just put them in with our flock and they have been chased and pecked a little so injury could be possible.

She is a silkie cross. The bloating get feeling is below her crop Just wondering if anyone knows what this might be and if it's worth culling her cause of? Hoping easy...

So I have a dorking that went broody and hatched our 4 chicks they are 5 weeks old now. She is laying eggs already and acting like she is done with the chicks. They are in a separate pen in the shed, chicks don't seem big enough to be integrated and the mom is the bottom of the pecking order in...
Here is the picture added before ar 2 days of my 4 chicks.
Here they are now at 2 weeks, barn yard mystery. so far we know one if a Leghorn, one is a Silver lace(we think silkie by the toes) cross, a Barred rock(possibly cross)Rooster and the all black one is a silkie/ (unknown yet) cross
New to the site. Few pictures of our chicks that hatched last night (Feb 13) mystery breeds from a friends farm.
