Apologize for staying away, but after having a very successful summer. I am wondering, do chickens continue laying eggs in the winter? I imagine they will, but at a reduced rate.
my girls are 9 weeks old as of Sunday. And they are absolutely beautiful. I added a year old Rooster named Mufasa. He is a Rhode Island Red. And he has been really good with them. Not aggressive at all.
I have a Black Sex Link that is very bold, and kind of aggressive. The thought is that it is a hen. But it's actions say otherwise. There is no red comb or waddles yet. But I am wondering.
My ladies are 3 weeks old and now they are really starting to grow bigger fast and daily.
Unfortunately I am not close to completing their coop or run yet. Because of weather like this.
It's only 28 outside, otherwise I would be outside working on it.
