    Chicken won't walk!

I have a 4 month old broiler roo. A few weeks ago, it was attacked by the other chickens. Tore him up pretty badly. We separated and put it in the out grower. But now he won't walk. He eats and drinks just fine, but won't walk at all. His legs don't seem to be broken and no bumblefoot. But...

    Chick/coop troubles

So we have a dilemma. Our chicks are 6 weeks old. We've had them in the out grower coop for about 2 weeks. We are having trouble getting them to go in the coop for the night. They start up the ramp, but as soon as the get to the door they stop and gang up. It's just an old dog house, so this...

    Our First Egg!!!

How exciting! Cogburn and Doc have been going crazy all day because Miss Kitty hadn't left the coop all morning. She finally came out about 10 mins ago, and this is what was left behind. A small but firm, bluish green egg!!! I'm so thrilled!!!

    New to the chicken world

We are so excited to now be part of the awesome world of chickens. We have 4 chickens that are grown and 6 chicks. Definitely have lots of questions as to the breeds of our adult chickens, and the sex of our chicks. Ready to listen and learn. Thanks

    Identifying rooster or hen

OK, so we are new to the chicken world. We bought 6 chicks from TSC. We were told they were hens, but we've been hearing that they are straight run, and we are now noticing it. So far we've discovered that we have 2 roosters, but we are unsure about 1 of the red rangers. So I'm hoping maybe...
