    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

That's a good idea. I'll try it and let you know. Won't be using it for quail for a couple months.

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

I have 2 Brinsea Mini's and have had trouble with both of them. Their customer support sucks! Both times I had to get Amazon to get them to honor their warranty. I also have their chicken coop door opener. Had to send that back to Amazon also. Every time I would call customer support, never got...

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Any comments on using it for quail eggs? Don't know if they will rotate alright in it. I don't think they make quail egg inserts. Looks like I could get 5 quail eggs per chicken egg slot. Maybe I will start out with only 40 quail eggs that way I can adjust the egg ratio per slot. Been running it...

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Update on non-working candler: Manna Pro contacted me and instructed how to remove the top of machine to get to the plug for the candler. Plug was loose and pushed it in and now works. Also machine has been running for a few days now and temp and humidity perfect!

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Just bought the NR360 yesterday. TSC just got one in and i drove 36 miles to get it. Can't find them anywhere around me or online to ship overnight. I had a failing incubator so I was desperate. Set it up, came up to temp perfect and humidity spot on. Only problem the candler doesn't work. I...

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

When I get shipped eggs I let them sit room temp, large end up for 24 hours so the air cell stabilizes. Then put them in the incubator on their side with the NR360.

    Not a New Member But.....

I became a member back in 2009 but never introduced myself. I have 35 chickens (so far, lol) 2 German Shepherds and 2 cats. I love to incubate and hatch the eggs myself even though I have several broody hens. I give away most of my eggs to friends and family, and of course my dogs get hard...

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Looks like there should be a screen attached there. There are 4 screw holes. The company needs to find better help on their assembly line!

    Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

I have my two incubators hooked up to a battery backup unit which keeps electric to them during power failures. They are usually used for computers but work great for the incubators.

    what does Egg bound mean?

I wanted to thank you all for the advice on egg bound hens. My RI started to show signs of egg bound this afternoon. I put her in a warm bath and massaged her abdomen and the egg finally worked its way up to where I could feel it. I kept massaging it until it was close to coming out and put...

    Mareks Disease and egg consumption

I am most certain it is mareks, anemia, leg paralysis, lesions , etc... It is not a vertically transmitted disease so I am pretty sure that the eggs are safe to eat. As for prevention, the only prevention is vaccination at a day old or in the incubated eggs. Disinfection of the disease is...

    Mareks Disease and egg consumption

I have had an outbreak of Mareks disease in my flock and have lost one rooster and two hens. My question is, Is it safe to eat the eggs that are being laid. I know that when a hen contracts the disease that egg laying diminishes. It has been over a week since my last hen has died and all the...
