    Thanks for the input. I do have a little landing so I think it might not be to bad. I'll give it a try and see what happens. If they don't figure it out I can always change it or teach them :)

    I have had my chicks for a few weeks now and have not given them any grit. What type should I get them? Also, I'm planning on using sand in the run. Will this be fine for grit when they are finally outside?
