I know that its been done before but im looking into possibly putting up a plastic shed to house the ducks at night. I think im gonna go with a 10x8 or 10x10. Can anyone give me any experiences on trying to keep them clean? I was planing on installing some drains on the floor to aid in cleaning.

Since I've been leaving the one drake separated from the rest at night I'm getting a constant 3-4 a day. So obviously I'm going to have to rehome him.

I know generally its recommend to have the coop off the ground to help with warmth in the winter. My question is if i put down 1" foam board then plywood directly on the ground be just as good as above the ground?

They have 2 pens. One is chicken wire top and bottom which is where they normally are after dark. The other area is more open no bottom or top but coop and entire duck area is surrounded by electric chicken wire fence.

Ive got mine to go to the outside of the coop and then i place them in. The runners will walk up the ramp but the pekins wont. I put them in at 10 at night and lower the ramp at 6:30am. I dont give them food but i was water and the entire floor inside is wet. So im gonna start leaving the water...

I have 3 pekins and 3 runners. They do have a coop o put them in when its 20 or below. My question is about heat. Ive been using a heat lamp but theres the chance of fire so im looking at other options. Should i install a heater and make sure coop stays 20 degrees or has anyone used a heating pad?

When he is in the water the leg looks more like it should so im thinking its still in the joint. He does try to go to them and move around but since its so far out he doesn't move. I didn't feel any extra warmth or look reder then other side. Today it looked like he was starting to stand on it...

As far as i know hes a regular pekin. I have 3 others that were raised at the same time which i think are females have no issues. Hes has always had issues with his toes being pointed in but over came it. It just looks like is leg is pushed out.
