i had a adult pair, i was dissapointed they where the same size as muscovie ducks! as mine where adults when i got them they where really really strong and hated human contact. but i should imagine from youngsters they'll be like any animal. good luck!
lol......geese are cleaner than ducks coz they are easier to free range, they let you know when someone or something has turned up and touch wood i've not had a fox,badger or hawk problem. they trim the grass nice too.

i was told you can tell by the folds they have between their legs but i normally go by build, length and thickness of necks (boys longer) in mine the gosling boys have longer necks and of course as they get older they get the nobble/ridge on the beak
