This pullet is around 26 weeks. I've had her for around a month. She has grown considerably in size but her comb remains very small. She isn't laying yet. Can anyone shed some light on this? I usually keep Isa Browns so I'm used to the larger combs on chickens.

Yes the black one has red feathers. It is approx 6 months old, should it be laying by now? It has a very small comb. The weather here is cool, heading into winter now.

I am still quite new at keeping chickens. I bought 2 pullets but I am beginning to think this one isn't a pullet at all? Can anyone help me with this? I'm also unsure of the breed. Thank you.
