egg like thing it was solid with no discernable differentation of part has any one seen one of these. this evening she seem ok

My hen passes dark watery unpleasant smelling motions eary in the day, these change as the day goes on to firmer "normal" looking motions we have noticed this as she now spends so much more time with us inside with the arrival of a severe winter, is this unusual ??
