It just dawned on me....My older duck was raised with the older goose. Last week, and a few times before, the older duck jumped on the older goose back and was pecking at her. I shooed her off and didn't think anything of it as the goose is 3 times the ducks size. I wonder now if the duck did it...

Duckling eggs 8 days out in incubator

Question, I have duckling eggs in the incubator that are due in 8 days HOWEVER, 4 of them have progressed much faster and the air sack is already half the egg and it is possible that they were sat on by the chickens before collecting. Should I make the call and lock them down and stop turning or...

Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

For starters it is now crowing each morning. Also, it is VERY mean to the other hens herding and even biting them. Here is a better shot showing the reddening, the red just started to appear this weekend.

OK the red does not show as well in these pics but Roo right? I just know he is by mannerisms alone! I have 100% guarantee by the breeder if this is a roo to swap him out for a hen. He sure is a stunning bird but I can not handle a roo alone. Please help me confirm?

8 week old black and white EE a roo?

Shoot, I think one of my chickens is a roo? It is becomming severly agressive with the siblings and is MUCH larger than them, even the leggs. I swear it has also been trying to crow. Can you take a look and let me know your thoughts please?
