Yes they are all free range. They like to sit in the trees/bushes/brush behind our house close to the coop. But it's so congested with briars and what not, I can't get back there to look for her. She's always back around 7:30 to roost though. So strange.

My hen goes missing all day and then returns to the coop when it's time to roost. I've looked for her but I never find her. Any idea why she stays gone all day then comes back at night? She's about 4 years old.

my husband found our chick dead in its bed this morning. He said there was a little blood on the ramp and that the chick was really wet and nasty looking. We have two other hens along with the chicks two other siblings, but they have all been getting along fine. So I have no clue what happened...
