    Hen or rooster ?

    He's a rooster. You can see by the sickle feathers he has hanging by his wings. Very nice coloring on him by the way

    Buff Duck and Pekin duck hens broody in same nest

    I have a buff Duck hen that went broody 4 days ago. And for some strange reason the pekin duck also acts broody and warms the eggs along with the buff Duck. But when the pekin leaves the nest she doesn't act broody. Very strange.
