with my coop we have hay half and grass the other we move the cage often and don't worry about the eggs my quails have a nest in the hay with 10 eggs right now and when we move the cage the eggs don't roll around at all they stay right in their place.

No it's higher than you think it is more than 6 feet high

um well on the cage I put a old blow up pool around the cage and it keeps the rain out also one of my quais I still don't know wich one but it layed a blue egg is that good or bad?

DK newbie my quails are sitting on their eggs and also they do the same as yours leave the nest for 10 mins and come back I am expecting a chick and they lay 1 or 2 eggs a day also some of my other posts where for my friends and their quails so yeah. also if you would like to say stuff like that...

Is it bad if the roo quail starts peaking at the girl and then walks away The girl didn't care dose that mean she might have mites or lice and should I treat that before one of the eggs hatch.

no he doesn't chase the girls away or hurt them they go good together its just I see the roo care and sit on the eggs more than the girl and t seems that he likes to.

this type of pe I think is really good my quails love it they run around and lay eggs which is a sign they're happy

also today they layed another egg and now there's 5 in the nest and chive 1 of the girls sat on them but couldent really fit on them all and sometimes when basil the boy is sitting on the eggs chive sits on top of him till he moves is that bad or good

oww its so cute but it looks like its really young I think it will need more than a bulb over a tub but if u got some hay and things like that and made it into a nest shape it would help
