    Oh no! Day-old chickie losing yolk sac?

    That's what it looks like, anyway. When he hatched yesterday, his yolk sac was pulled in, and he had a nice round belly. But this morning he has this "thing" hanging out, and it like just like the yolk sac coming back out. He's not gonna make it, is he?

    Roo - what age sexual maturity

    I have a BR roo who's 21 wk old. Shouldn't he be showing SOME signs of interest in the hens by now? They're all a few months older and come from 2 separate flocks,but they all get along fine now. They're ranged during the day. Thanks, Jill
