I have a Swedish Isbar rooster who is full-grown. He's never been able to crow loudly but now barely makes a sound. He seems healthy and active, no drainage noticed and is eating and drinking well. Does anyone know if this is common for this breed or if it is something I should be concerned...

i am attempting to hatch 2 Polish/silkie cross. I noticed this morning incubator wasn't maintaining, the temperature dropped to 96, also humidity dropped to 45. I also have two pips. Now I'm really worried :( . Any guesses on if they will make it? It's day 20. Any tips on hatching Polish or Silkies?

I have a few PQ Silkies but am now interested in purchasing SQ Silkie but not break the bank if possible . I would be new to showing so need something simple to start with that hopefully wouldn't be a disqualification. I'm near Houston TX

Broody hen question. I have a hen that was sitting on two eggs for several days. Yesterday she left the two eggs and went to sit in another empty box. The eggs were cool to touch but I move them and put them under her anyway and she excepted them. This morning I noticed she was off the exit...

Is there anyone in the Houston TX area with successful hatch rates who can tell me the temp. and humidity settings they use? So far I only have about a 50% hatch rare. Same x3 hatches. I had the incubator at 99. Not sure what the humidity was at, I plan to start keeping records

I made the mistake of ordering two batches of eggs on same day from different parts of the country. One is due to arrive 3/9 the other 3/20. Sellers would not work with me on dates :( I have one incubator (Farm Innovator with egg turner). Is there any successful way to run these together...
