Hello all! Have some 19 week chicks I'm hoping to get some help on. No crowing yet and no eggs. Most "squat" when we reach for them but not sure if that's avoidance or the "submissive squat" any ideas pullet vs roo?

That coloring looks suspiciously like an isabel coloring that can be bred for in english orps (super fluffy birds in their own right). Sometimes they're crossbred with creles but otherwise not sure where that dark tail would come in. But If so, and it is an isabel you've got a special bird...

Well, that would explain why I kept waiting for the white to come in and it never showed :) It is odd though as I specifically ordered red sex links from the hatchery. Does that happen often?

What is the difference and how can i tell? (i.e. what am I looking for?) Are production reds also sex linked? or chance they could be cockerels?

Don't take my word for it but could the smaller one w feathered legs be a buff Cochin? Those also come in a bantam variety which could explain size. What did she look like as a chick?
