My chicken family
The green (boy) and pink (girl) are leghorn , and black one is a Bantam (boy) they were all just a few days shy of 3 weeks old in this pic so you can kind of compare feathering at least. The others--2 Buff Orp at bottom (girls) and the RIR fella at top were around 4 weeks :)...
I have 2 Buff Hens and one of mine has always been a bit more "hefty" than the other. One is just very petite overall--skinnier legs, slimmer build not quite as "fluffy", and a MUCH smaller comb...so who knows you may have 2 girls..time will tell The flaring of the neck feathers kind of leads...
The waiting is the hardest part!!! I feel your pain! Mine started laying just a few weeks ago at 24 and 25 weeks! Once they start it is magical :) mine have been laying an egg for me each day since!! I hope it is any day now for you! Be patient
