Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I have 12 four week old EE's, and there should be at least one cockerel in the mix. This is the only one that looks male to me so far. What do you think? I apologize for the image quality, my phone is a potato. Edit: Yeah, he took a poop on my table...

Incubator for Regular Hatching of Chicken and Quail

I would like some recommendations! I am looking for an incubator with capacity for approximately 30 chicken eggs, something that will withstand regular use, as I am hoping to be hatching chicks for sale at my local farmer's market next year. I would like to be able to hatch button quail eggs...

What treat did your chickies get today?

Today was strawberry and cucumber day! Our warehouse manager gives me any fruits or vegetables that go bad to give to my chickens.

    Silver Spangled Hamburg?

Ah darn. I think it is a pullet as well, was hoping though that someone would contradict me. Wishful thinking! :) Thanks all, and I will keep you posted.

    Silver Spangled Hamburg?

This is my free rare chick from Murray McMurray. I think it's a Silver Spangled Hamburg, which would be the same free chick I got in my last order. Thoughts? This little nugget will be four weeks old in a few days. I know I'm being impatient, but any thoughts on sex? The last SSH was a hen...

    Utah!

Hello Utah! I am a new member and wanted to see if there are any fellow chicken enthusiasts in southwestern Utah? I'm stationed on five acres just outside of St. George. I used to be very involved in the Wisconsin poultry community with my dad when I was a teenager (I'm 26 now), and I'd like...

    Hello from Southern Utah!

Thanks Sunflour. We never had a problem introducing our pullets into the flock when I was a kid, but this will be my first time doing it on my own, and I have got a terribly mean black sex link hen. I'm a bit nervous. I think I'll just move the whole coop to a new location when it's time...

    Hello from Southern Utah!

Hello all! I've spent a lot of time browsing around on this forum and finally decided to create an account. I had Buff Brahma Bantams and Old English Game Bantams growing up until my dad sold our farm when I was seventeen. I'm 26 now and finally was able to get some chickens of my own this...
