Wow! Interesting 36h... all 3 needed assistance.
Very cautiously followed the advice on assisted hatching. The 3rd hatched this morning. Small amount of dry-looking membrane seems to be stuck to the last ones umbilicus. I was going to wait until it had fluffed up befits taking a closer...
It looks a though the chick can't move about. The membrane is set back from the eggshell. I'm not sure if I should be peeling the membrane off or just the shell. Any recommendations? 24h now since first pip.
Hi folks, 1st of 3 bantam eggs pipped 12h ago. Membrane tanning and not open so I opened the membrane as in pic and put it back. Should I just leave it now or should I try to find the beak?
Hi folks, many thanks for the warm welcome! Still no progress - that's almost 12h now. Still being patient, but will try to find more info on hatching problems.
Hello folks, D21 first time hatching posted bantam eggs in a Brinsea octagon. 3/6 fertile. 1 has large air picked and the other 2 saddle shaped. The one with a large air picked has pipped his shell but the membrane is still intact. Okay to watch and wait?
