    Sick Sebastapol?

Thank you so much! I use Toltrazuril in my goats and your right, it works great! How would I administer to the geese and dosage? I don't use supplemental vitamins, if you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it!

    Sick Sebastapol?

Hi, thank you for your response. The dropping are old but they come out looking that color because I have seen them fresh. I have them on Scratch & Peck Feeds Chicken and Duck Feed, 16%, Soy and Corn Free, Organic. But open to other suggestions if you don't think this is sufficient. I...

    Sick Sebastapol?

Hi, I have 5 colored Sebastopol geese and I noticed today 4 out of the 5 look like they have pale legs and feet, while the 5th ones are orange. I have been noticing reddish/brown dropping as well but not sure if the two are related. Would love some other thoughts and wisdom! Thanks!

Newly hatched Sebastopol geese not opening eyes

I have a gosling that hatched almost 12 hours ago. Breathing but not moving around much and hasn't opened its eyes. Wondering if anyone else has had this experience and if there is anything I can do. Thanks!

    Avian Pox??

From what I read if it is Avian Pox, there is nothing I can do. Several others in the flock are showing signs of it as well. Do they just eventually pass away? Can still consume their eggs? Thanks!

    Bloody Stool

Here are two pics. One is where the separated chick is and the other is in the coop. I gave them 9.5 cc of corid in 1 gallon of water. They are all pretty active and seem to be eating and drinking fine. They are all going into the coop a lot during the day I noticed.

    Ameraucana not laying

Yes on several occasions. At night and during the day. I know, we've never understood why she lost them and then assumed it was molting. We are located in Northern CA.

    Ameraucana not laying

Hi, Our Ameraucana stopped laying a few months ago and over the last month has almost exclusively stayed in one of the nesting boxes. I thought she was being broody but I'm starting to get concerned. I take her out and she eats and drink, goes to the bathroom fine. But day and night stays in...

Thanks for all your input! I moved the rest back into the house, because I was afraid maybe it could have been a combo of things. Fingers crossed.

5 week old chick died, why?

I should add though the brooder we made was topped with Chicken wire and one opening on the side for air. Not sure if any of that matters though.

5 week old chick died, why?

Dang, maybe that was it. I feel awful. I thought they had to have heat up to 8 weeks or until they have all their feathers. They don't quite have all their feathers yet.

5 week old chick died, why?

Hi, We had four week old new chicks we set outside in the brooder with a heat lamp. They all have been doing great, turning the heat lamp off during the the day because it's been over the 100's here but back on every night so they could have a heat source. I woke up this morning and our...
