I have three male ducks that are a little over a year old and need a new home near SW Missouri. The breeds are Rouen, Ancona, and Pekin.
They are used to children, dogs, and chickens. Please let me know if you are able to re-home this sweet boys!
Thank you both! I was able to snap a shot this evening of my speckled polish as the sunset, and I couldn't be happier that my poor iPhone decided to play nicely!
I thought I would give an update!
My rooster is doing much better, and I didn't notice any sneezing or wheezing during free range time when I was with them. Also, eyes/nose/face all still look really clear. I did go ahead and deworm the whole flock with Safeguard during this process as well...
I don't remember the exact post since it had been a while since I looked at it, but this is what I remember for Safeguard Goat Dewormer:
1/2 cc for standard sized and 3/4 cc for large fowl undiluted for three days. Deworm again in ten days to kill any preciding larve.
Thanks so much for your help! I haven't ever dealt with a sick chicken and feel like I have a million questions.
Two last questions if you think you can help again: 1) Will my eggs still be okay to eat? And 2) Should I keep a closed flock and not bring any other chickens in?
Awesome! If the ladies are okay without the crate, do you think it will be okay with a 100% reintroduced back into the flock? Or should I make sure he has a separate feeder and watered?
Thanks @MasterOfClucker! Should I stick with the 1/2 cc dosage or up it to 1 cc?
Also, do you remember what post it could be under for @Eggcellent?
Also another update: He did a "gape" about two times in a row followed by a head shake. I'm assuming this is respiratory inflammation. Not sure if...
I know I have seen other post about chickens who sneeze, wheeze, have runny noses, etc, but my rooster doesn't seem to have any other problem than sneezing and he will wheeze for the first few minutes in the morning until he gets going.
This is what I have noticed about him: sneezes regularly...

About my flock: We are located in SW Missouri and currently have 7 chickens (and counting). I have a Barred rock rooster, Barred rock pullet, black australorp pullet, speckled polish pullet, two Ameraucana...
