I recently got 2 ameraucana hens or so they said they were. So far the to are very sweet cute and fluffy. This morning one flew in to my brooder with my polish chicks and didn't mind the change of scenery. All th chicks were cool with it. So mine seem to be very friendly and inquisitive

I got it from a feed store it came with another one that turned out to be a English copper and I believe has no feathers on the feet the one in question though also has grey slate feet as well as the other one

I have a bird that looks like a cuckoo maran or a Plymouth Rock I don't know what it is but it has a green sheen on the side of its feathers and I bought it with another bird that turned out to be a Copper Maran an English Copper Maran any clues to what it might be

one is really gray mostly and fluffy cute the other has more of a brownish I guess

my rooster also has feathers that are very long and seem to point down on the side .What could this be?Along with fatherless feet.

hi, I see by the date that this is old , but I have a fbcm with clean legs too. I always wanted this breed and pleasantly by surprise I got one rooster at the feed store. I was very suprized and confused about the fatherless legs. Is this common or have a reason for no feathers on the legs?
