I have a question about broodiness of RIRB. As I've stated previously they are 3 years old, but I've only had them a couple of months now.
I'd LOVE to hatch some of their eggs and prefer a broody hen to do it. How likely is it for one of them to go broody? Is there any way to "help" them go...

Got the DE and it worked! I put it out yesterday and I was shocked to see all 3 of my Reds we're in it. Yay! Now I know they like the DE so I will keep it on hand. Thanks for advice!
I do not have it in a container, just the corner of their run. I will try a container to see if they like that better. Yes, I have some DE and will mix that with sand and ash to see if they will use it. Thanks for the advice!
