Rooster went hoarse, now comb is turning black

I am sad to report he's dying right now. Today the rest of his face turned dark and he's wheezing. He just appeared to seize a few times....and now he's let out his last breath.... RIP Zephram :-(

Rooster went hoarse, now comb is turning black

No, he is a full size rooster. He usually had a really full, extremely loud crow, never high pitched or squeaky. It's been in the 80's here this week.

Rooster went hoarse, now comb is turning black

When he turns his head sideways, you can see that his comb is turning black at the back. Yes, eating and drinking normally, no drainage.

Trying to figure out how to post a picture. I have a video of him crowing also.

Rooster went hoarse, now comb is turning black

More info: he hasn't been acting off other than the crow. Too hot here for frostbite.

Rooster went hoarse, now comb is turning black

My rooster is about 2 years old and usually healthy with a very loud crow. A few days ago I thought it sounded like he was losing his voice, and it continues until he sounds very muted in everything he does. Then last night I noticed his comb was starting to turn blackish. I've been raising...

Day one in the incubator. How do I increase the humidity?

No, no more hatched. I started with 9 eggs. quickly removed 2 that appeared non-fertile to begin with. Next removed 2 more that weren't developing. Sunday before hatching began on Friday, I had 4 eggs that were looking good. On Wednesday, only 2 were still moving. On Friday one hatched and...

    Is this a pip?

Actually, I'm running around right now, gathering all the brooder components from the barn. So, it's not ready yet. I was going to do that tomorrow because I wasn't expecting this so quick! I still have three eggs in the incubator with baby. None have pipped yet.

    Is this a pip?

It hatched! We just got home and found this! Still wet, so I assume it hasn't been long ago, or is that because it's so humid in there? Leave it in until dry and fluffy?

    Is this a pip?

My khaki Campbell duck eggs are supposed to have 5 more days, but is that a pip??? Is it normal to have one hatch so early?

Day one in the incubator. How do I increase the humidity?

I'm on the last week of incubation! I have 4 eggs that looked good last time I candled! Question: after I stop turning, is it ok to open the incubator to add water to keep the humidity up? Or does lock down mean absolutely no opening?

Day one in the incubator. How do I increase the humidity?

These are the ones that I don't know what to do with. They're at 11 days. They have some dark spots, but no blood vessels visible. I'm guessing they're not good, but I'd like to have others' opinions. Out of the 9, I can see blood vessels in 4 and one of them was moving about when I candled...
