So excited Ruby (white) is brooding on a huge clutch of eggs some belonging to Lola (Black). So much for Runners not being broody, she is quite attentive and I'm super nervous. She made her nest in the bought dog house that i put in the pen for them to use (I guess the pen has a shade roof so...

I'm so excited, Ruby is brooding on a bunch of eggs. Some belong to Lola. As this is my first clutch I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I'm hoping mum will be a good carer xxx (so much for Runner ducks not being good brooders).

I have heard they arn't very good brooders at all... once mine start laying I guess I will find out.. :)
