Yes it has been very cold out but he has been in a heated building and it’s keep warm fo all my farm animals during the winter. I have never had a problem before so this is got me freaking out and he didn’t make it so now I have to worry about my other chickens.
My rooster sadly didn’t make it he was too far gone when I found him. I feel so stupid that I didn’t know and I check them every day. They have a really big chicken coop so they haven’t been outside in the cold I have a large heated building built for all my animals during the winter.
My roosters feet are swollen and he walked out of the chicken coop this morning and layed down instead of eating. I brought him in the house and tryed warning him up and soaking his feet but the more I try to help him the more he seems to be lifeless other than eye movements once every few minutes
I'm Sierra I have 27 chickens and 6 baby chicks, one of my baby chicks is sick and I lost a baby chick yesterday. The one that's sick now is eating chick starter mixed with water or milk and is drinking sugar water, is there anything else I can do for her
