Problem with a female toulouse goose

I am pleased to report that she is now doing a lot better, to the point that she is back in with the other two. She is limping a little and kicking her leg out a bit, but with a bit more exercise and muscle building, (she has spent 2 weeks laying down) I think that she will be fine. Her first...

Problem with a female toulouse goose

How long should the niacin take to take effect? I have been adding it to her water since Tuesday, whilst she is still trying to use her legs, and there is strength in them, (when I pick her up she pushes against my arm with them), she still cannot stand. She is trying, I put her up next to her...

Both legs are working fine in water, toes curling and flexing, full range of leg movement, she is just refusing to stand on dry land!

Problem with a female toulouse goose

The bottle states that the vitamin PP (niacin) is 1600mg It says on the label to put in 15ml per litre and a half of water, which I have done. What is confusing, is her sister has also been laying, but is totally fine.

Problem with a female toulouse goose

There really isnt a lot to see, she just sits down, without even attempting to stand. I have just carried her upto her mate and the other female, as they have been calling to each other, she waggles her legs as I am walking with her, as if she wants to get down and walk, I put her down, and she...

Problem with a female toulouse goose

Hi, I have a trio of geese for breeding, they are about 11 months old now, two female toulouse and a white male. For the last couple of weeks, one of my females has had a limp, I just thought that the male had been a little over zelous, or she had caught her leg getting out of their bath...
