Anyone know what the going rate is this year? Last year I got $6 a pound.

One of my chicks that hatched yesterday is good n dry, but the feathers are all stiff and locked together like it used too much hair gel. Should I just keep waiting for it to fluff on it's own or should I us a damp towel to clean it off a bit?

Anyone know what might be going on with this? My thought is stress... or he's too close to the eggs they started laying. I have confined them from free ranging so they could go broody where I want them too.... The hen is pulling pretty hard on his chest feathers.
