it was eggs 20ish + in all 10 boxes every day to almost no eggs, maybe 3 a day, with the 2 brooding, I'm not seeing any unusual amount of feathers on the ground (molting right?) or any hidden nests...
I thought maybe it was something to do with the 2-3 broody hens going broody at the time.

well i would like to hold out for a full blood, im not an expert on breeding chickens or anything, but i imagine i may lose some traits i want by mixing them
nope=( I know a guy who buys eggs from me would pay a few dollars for a rooster for the meat, and if you wanted to give them away, thats what I would do with them, otherwise no, Don't need any more roosters eating all the food=)
Need a boy to throw in with my girls to breed, never done it before but I at least know it takes a boy ! if anyone can give me a lead on one that would be great!
I do live in the southeast, Central North Carolina, ugh. Any one have any ideas on good feed in this area? I've thought about growing mealworms and I've heard they are very cheap. Also I've looked into the new BIOPOD invention that grows black soldier fly larvae/composts your organics quickly...
