    Oh ty I'm much the same as you I'm a new chicken enthusiast and went to the feed store to pick up my two buff Orpington's and two brahmas and low and behold I came home with six.

    Ok I sure hope so. The feed store I got them from is notorious for selling roosters about 50% of the time. Of course I found that out after I got them. Next time I'm getting my pullets from local breeders

    Araucana are rumpless and Ameraucana have rumps muffs and beards. Also a giveaway on your chicks are the leg colours most ameraucana have a greyish colour leg except I believe the wheaten ones but your chickens don't look like those see on mine

    Wondering if anyone has guess on my chickens genders. A friend is willing to help replace any roosters we have. Unfortunately we can't have roosters in our area. They are 7.5 weeks the last two photos are the same bird
