Yes that is a good possibility, I have Welsummers myself and they indeed look a whole lot like brown or partridge leghorns. And I forgot to say, yes do check the earlobes. Generally a white earlobe = white egg, and a red earlobe = brown egg, with the exception of a Penedesencas or EEs.
Hi all! I am new to byc and got my chicks about 17 and 1/2 weeks ago, and I am exited to get my first egg. I wan't to see your first eggs! I hope there some people who have taken pictures of there first egg(s).
