I have a 7 week old BA rooster that appears to be very sick, about a week ago he started to walk funny and stumble all over the place, his walking keeps getting worse as you will see in the video below. He eats he drinks I have been giving him electorlytes in his water and started him on...
Just we out to try and move a bird in with him, but two of the others were laying up against the cage right next to him cuddling through the cage, they really are good chicks. so i think i will leave them for the night.
Not really sure what their ranking is yet but yeah i could prob put one of the ISA browns in with her, just didn't wan't it to get hurt by another bird.
No it felt about the same as the other just less feather, this is the leg it keeps falling on so maybe thats why its getting bald.
She is finally laying down in the cage, she wants to be with the other so bad :(
Not sure about the lump but.....
Not really a lump but more of a bald spot that looked all wet
His stumbling could be a vitamin k deficiency.
I am no expert but do know my neighbor has a stumbler just like how yours is stumbling and vitamin k is working on hers.
The sav-a-chick has vitamin k so...
I was able to check her feet and legs really good (thanks to a towel) and was not able to see anything that was injured, legs seamed to move and bend fine and she seamed happy laying on her back, she started to nap and her breathing seamed to get labored.
Also was able to look her over a body...
This is what i have been feed them since day 1 it does not say medicated on it.

the bag is almost gone should i switch them to a different feed
Maybe i should do medicated for a few days?
I got it from TSC with the rest of them as far a vaccination not sure. I do suspect it to be a roo which is why we have not been to a vet yet but don't really want it to be in pain either, The other BA that i got with them that is a roo has a lot more red in the comb and really big wattles, this...
So I have her separated from the others in a small metal dog crate inside the coop, is this the best way to do it? Would it be better to take her completely out and then worry about reintroducing her to the flock later? She really does not like being separate from the others and is kind of...
Here is a link to a video of her, best i could get as she does not really want to walk this am.
I also add the other Videos i took this morning to my youtube channel
As i was moving my birds from there tractor to the Coop/run I noticed one of my BAs was stumbling around as if its leg was broken, I checked it out the best i could and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, (not that i really know the ordinary when it comes to chicken legs). What do I look...
I it turns out to only be 2 then I will see how well then 10 hens do with 2 rooster, I am deff concerned that 3 roos and 9 hens will be more harm to the Hens then its worth at which point i will have to reduce the number of roos as i don't really have the room to build a separate roo coop and run
