    Chicken or turkey?

I think my chicken thinks she's a turkey. Today I walked up to her and she fluffed up and spread out her tail feathers. Almost like a broody behavior except she was out foraging. She's my super sweet Australorp so in no way did it come across as an aggressive behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

So I go down to check for eggs today and I find a jumbo egg and a tiny egg- maybe a tad smaller than a bantam egg. My hens have always laid good quality, thick/ hard shelled eggs. Never any problems. Then I get...

    Discoloration on rooster's waddles

I noticed a few days ago that my rooster has some discoloration on the edges of his waddles. He's acting normal. He's eating fine.
