These are my 2 week old babies! Crystal Ice (in the middle) is my favorite. She's a beautiful lavender frizzle! How are everyone else's chicks doing?

What are everyone's results? 7/17 = 41% hatch rate on our shipped eggs. Set 17, tossed 8 clear on day 18. 9 went to lock down and 7 hatched. (2 developed but didn't hatch)

Awwwwwwwwww, cute pix! ... now you make me want to try hatching under a broody!!!!!! Did you have to move her to a separate brooding pen? how long will you keep her with the chicks?

Happy April Fool's Day everyone! Our family is coming in to visit for Easter. Won't this be wonderful to have baby chicks in the kitchen! Please post pix of your Easter chicks! How's everyone doing?

7 this morning!... another Blue sizzle... 2 eggs left but I'm not even seeing a pip... don't know whether to move the chicks to the brooder or wait another day.

We're up to 6!!! 2nd Mille Fleur d'Uccle She's out! -- Millie and Maxwell 1st Sizzle/Frizzle! She's drying off and beautiful!!!! lavender! 2nd one was black 2 Blue Ameraucanas hatched -- 1 is yellow! (splash?), 1 is blue/black 3 EGGS to go... Good luck to everyone!!!

I now have 3 babies! 2 Millies and a Splash Sizzle/Frizzle just hatched!!! 1 zipping Blue Ameraucana and 4 Pips. The last one hasn't done anything yet. So far so good.

My kids don't want to go to school today! I think they have chick "fever"! Pip Zip Hatching Out of shell Millie is here! ... or is it Maxwell? Of our 9/17, 1 chick hatched!, 2nd d'uccle is zipping, 2 Ameraucana's pipped and 1 Frizzle pipped. I think I have chick fever, too!
