I'm located near Lake Michigan. The nights are starting to get below 27° F at night. My question is, can my 5 week old ducklings go outside? Will it be too cold for them? The days are pretty cold too. It is around 36° F during the day. They arn't fully feathered either.
You could always ask to visit a place with ducks and then go "see mom arn't they adorable, you know you want to have them too. *Puppy Dog Look** And flutter those eye lashes and make some fake tears! Look her dead in the eyes. ;)

I was wondering:
1.) Do you have to be NPIP Certified to ship any poultry using USPS?
2.) How do you get NPIP Certified?
3.) What all happens for the certifired to take place?
4.) Do I bring my animals to a vet or does someone come to my house and test my animals?
5.) Do all my animals have to...
Is it safe to feed Muscovy ducks wild bird seed feed? Winters were I live are heck-tec (crazy weather with crazy drivers) So I'm basically trying to find out if I can feed them things my local store sells. Tractor supply is a bit away from me and there isn't a feed mill near me that I know of...
What about Producer's Pride 12% Sweet Feed? There is a farm down the street from me. A old man runs it all alone. He has cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and Muscovy ducks. He says he only feeds them Producer's Pride 12% Sweet Feed.
I plan on feeding them layer feed at the end of winter.
Also I seen...
Would it be okay to only feed scratch grains to Muscovy ducks during the fall/winter times? Since they won't be laying eggs would it suffice? I have young juvenile Muscovy ducklings that I hatched from @Nyla 's eggs. I have a meal worm farm in my house so I'll always add meal worms to their...
