Do you let the Pheasants out during the day for more access to sunlight? I've always been told to let them range. Just wondering because I'm looking at building pens like yours and putting a clear plastic roof on to allow for more natural light wondering if its worth the extra money? Thanks

Ok so everything's going well everyone is fine after our freeze. Got another bag of corn for them hopefully going to get some stuff done this week now that we are thawing out lol

Okay so past couple days have been bad considering weather got at least 6 inches of snow but everyone's alive and well. This blog has started to get me out and working better with them learning their personalities and such like 2 of them liking to eat over with the rabbits and such.

Well this weekend went by well got the house reorganized and feed everyone. This week I'm gonna tackle water and feed issues and getting the rabbits taken care of. Work today then feeding time when I get home.

I'm not one for incubators but correct me if I'm wrong maybe add another heating element in the middle? Or top with fans blowing the air up and down. But the incubator looks amazing with that full front window!

Thats what I'm doing now learned that lesson the hard way with the water I let them have water for 10 minutes while i'm cleaning the rabbit hutches. Same with food 10 minutes sometimes 20 minutes for both but after that it gets removed so they dont scratch it everywhere or spill the water all...
