What do you do with your week old chicks if the power gets knocked out?

We are keeping our chicks in the 2nd shower. This is the third time we have used this set up and it works very well. I just tape over the drain and fill the shower pan up with pine shavings. The bathroom is small and draft proof (good thing in my old 1920's era cabin).

The dog used to chase the chickens but I managed to train her. Now it looks like she is at the bottom of the pecking order... right after I took this the rest of the girls came up and pecked her out of her sunny slumber.
