I emailed them this morning they replied only that i didn't report them within 24 hours and they only refund for dead on arrival minus any extra. I wont be ordering from them again.

We got our chicks this past Friday and 7 did where dead in the box and as of today noon we are up to 16 dead. We have never lost this many chicks in an order. the rest of the surprise chicks seem to be doing alright

It i unfair to show a pic of a show bird and compare it to yard bird. My neighbor has raised show birds for year and he gives them special feed and cages them separately and has tricks to get them ready for shows.

My chicks came this morning and i just got done unboxing them. There a 2 ducks 2 turkeys and close to 40 chicks of all different colors all alive and noisy.I will get pics later.

Hello, My order from Cackle was scheduled to ship today and i thought i would get an email saying it shipped. Do they usually notify you when they ship?

When i raise ducks there waters get raised up so they can all just reach them. It keeps them from playing so much.

I miss have mandarins and want to build a pen like yours. My old pens were 14 by 14 and were covered in netting. But between coon, heavy snow and the crazy female mandarins i ended up selling what was left of 4 pairs.

We have a mixer-mill and we grind our own. I use a Kent product most time but the feed store does have a kind they bag themselves. It is around $15 a bag but i have not gotten any for a while

How many mandarins do you plan on keeping in this cage?

We grind our own feed with concentrate from the feed mill and our own corn and oats. We grind a 1/2 ton at a time and it is like $65 for the concentrate and lasts a few months.

I just do not see why some people like to shout that this or that hatchery drop ships. It is probably what keeps the chicks at a more affordable price. Go ahead and and shout about it if a hatchery says they do not drop ship and does.

I have hatched them before I ended up with about 50 percent hatch. They are fast little babies and they can jump.
