Thank you for the response! I will definitely look into that. Do you have any advice as what to do in the meantime should I leave it or try to remove it if it’s papilloma?
Hello everyone!

My silkie hen has a clogged vent yesterday I saw she was just sitting there but did not suspect anything this afternoon her rear feathers were covered in a watery substance and when I picked her up she vomited on me. I thought she was egg bound but further...
I have one more question, will the one that might be a hen fill out a little more? Usually my hens have a nicer crest than my males but it flipped around this time lol. The two bigger ones (partdrige and larger paint) have very nice feathering and are a lot typier than the other chicks I sold...
Thank you! Sizzles are tricky:/ The other paint is quite a bit larger than the other one. I think hen might be a rooster because he is a bit larger but fingers crossed he’s a hen!
I have a couple photos of the bigger paint, but the smaller one is really hard to take photos of. Unfortunately, I am not home right now but I will take some better photos tomorrow. :)
^this is the best photo I have of the smaller paint.:(
This is another photo I have of the bigger sizzle.
Hi all!
I urgently need help on sexing my sizzles.:(I have three sizzles and I am going to keep one and I was planning to sell the other two. I was planning to keep a hen but I am stuck in between my two favorites and am not too sure about their gender. The bigger paint is the one I am stuck on...
That makes sense. Thank you
That makes sense. One day old silkie chicks go for around 30-40 here and I am pretty sure sizzles would be worth more. I guess I will just have to put them up for sale and see.
Aww that's a bummer:( It seems like it is always the sweetest ones that get picked on. One of my calmest roos seems to get picked on the most as well:(
Hi,
I have 5 sizzle silkies that are about 2 1/2 months old and I want to sell them, but I am not sure how much to sell them for. They are from show quality birds, they all have the correct combs, fluffy crests, five toes etc. Regular silkie chicks from "show quality" birds usually go for about...
Thank you.:) That is a huge relief! I have started doing this and hopefully it works. I asked a worker at the feed store who examined my chicken and said he thinks it is some sort of neurological that may be genetic.:( I will continue the nutri drench but if it is a neurological problem( I am...
Sorry my phone is glitching and it made me post my reply before I finished. I have fed her some tomato juice and before that she seemed a lot better so I took her outside and she went crazy over food and everything but she kept falling over and could not balance an she even got her head stuck in...
Thank you for the advice! I will let them free range instead of feeding them grass.:)
will tomato sauce or mashed up tomato work? The tomato sauce is plain no salt or anything. She did start eating on her own a little so hopefully that means she is improving!:wee
What should I do after the...
Hi all,
I have a silkie hen who I love and last night I went to check on them and she was separate from everyone else just sitting there rocking back and forth sort of almost like she could not balance. She did not even cause a ruckus when i picked her up like she usually does lol. She seemed...
