Yes, the hen is barred and the rooster is a Faverolles. I wasn't sure if a Faverolles wwas considered "solid" or not due to the odd male coloring.

Hello, Backyard chicken keeper here. Last year I got my flock which consists of a Faverolles rooster and my hens: sultan, buff orpington, Brahma bantam, barred rock, and some "sapphire eggers". We are just hatching our first chicks from our own eggs. Looking forward to Future discussions. John
