Excellent post. We are multi coops. Meat birds and layers. Looking for the perfect cross of meat and layers. Looks to harvest eggs, meat and self replenishing flock with brooder hens.

25 years ago we ran a very successful small scale French Guinea hen farm. It was a solid 5 yr run but the work got to my partner and it ended. Now back it just for fun, eggs and chicken soup. Chicken are different than my last flock of birds. I hope learn more via this web site.
